Omgoodness.
I've been reading and reading this forum for about 2 hours now (I should probably have spent that time doing housework, but OHH WELL!).
I'm so excited to get started, but have no idea where to start (reading the newbie guides, don't worry).
My boyfriend and I are doing alright financially, but are TERRIBLE at shopping. I was looking for what store was cheaper and how to spot deals when I came across this site. Hopefully I will be able to save enough to start paying off my student loans I'm stacking up. Haha.

Ummm... A little more about me
I am currently a non-custodial mother of my amazing 5 year old son. I like to put the "non-custodial" part in there because I would like to change how many people view non-custodial parents. :) I love my son more than life itself, but due to some unfortunate circumstances and living in one of those "all who you know" communities, I was stripped of my custodial rights.
I don't drink, do drugs or smoke cigarettes (I get asked that more than you can imagine). In fact, I'm what most like to call "straight edge".
I am currently working as a barista and attending school online (more time at home when I get the little man).
I just turned 23 and other than getting some bad luck here and there with my son, I am living a great life with my wonderful boyfriend, two cats and my new addition, Delmer the ferret.

As you can tell, I like to ramble. I'll quit for now and continue reading the how-tos (or get back to cleaning that darned house like I should be doing!).

best to start with a store you shop at a lot or that is in your area and you like the way the deals look. i started with cvs, then went to walgreens, then krogers....i am mainly at schnucks and target now...
