Hello and thanks for dropping in to Welcome Wagon to introduce yourself.

It is probably a good idea if we introduce hotcouponworld as well.

Hotcouponworld has a goal to help our members save money. By providing a content-based community where people can learn from each other, we provide our members an outlet for sharing deals. We encourage our members to save money on everything they buy, and we also hope to empower members to reinvest their savings into themselves and their families.

We recognize that our members are at different stages of the savings process, but that everyone still has something to learn. By offering tools and strategies to keep people motivated, we hope our members will find ways to increase personal wealth and live a better life.
We welcome new members no matter what their skill level. We will always work to help new community members find answers and learn our favorite hobby. Lastly, we strive to achieve an active, lively community filled with trading, friendships, and fun.

To help make all of that happen for our members we have a ton of information, tools and support available. Reading it all to find the pieces that will help in your goal of saving money takes time. Here is a little roadmap of where to find both the things you would expect from an online coupon board and maybe a few things you would not. All underlined words are links to what is being described.


If you are just getting started:

Register if you have not already done so. This will allow you to post questions, deals and so much more.
Couponing Basics is a forum where you can read about why to start and how. You can ask all of your questions here about couponing as well.

There are places to get coupons:

Printables are found in the Resources area and in our Coupon Database by selecting "printable" in the source column.
Contact companies database gives you a huge list of company contact info so you can get on mailing lists and put in coupon requests.
Coupon Clippers where you can order your coupons, in multiples.
Hot Entrepreneur coupon sellers. Our own HCW members who run a clipping service.
Cellfire coupons can be loaded onto some store loyalty cards.


Trading is a huge opportunity to get multiple coupons and have some fun! Who doesn't like to get mail that saves you money?

The Trading Forums have something for everyone. Trading of coupons, actual items, rebates etc. You will also find a forum just for Auctions, Coupon Trains, Classifieds, Expired Coupons, Secret Pal Swaps, lists where you can maintain what you have and need, and even a place where trading members offer RAOK's, random acts of kindness, to other members.
To become a trading member, first check out our trading guidelines and then submit the request form. Both are found HERE.

If you have questions before getting started you can post them in our Trading Rules & Guidelines Forum.

Once you are set up as a trading member, you are given access to a forum created and maintained just for new traders. There are coaches that will answer questions and help you every step of the way to get you started on your way to getting lots of great coupons to help you save.

Where to redeem those coupons:

Store Deals is where you will find a list of Drug Stores like CVS, Walgreens & Rite Aid. National Chain Stores like Target and Walmart. Grocery stores found in your area. Each week, the forum moderators and members post the weekly ad for the store, and matchups with current coupons are done to help you find the best deals. Often you can find out what is going to be on sale a week or 2 in advance.

Coupon Database & Instructions on how to use the database. The database is helpful in so many different ways. It is used by our trading members. It gives you an idea of where coupons are found so you too can look for these coupons when out shopping.


Many types of coupons, where to find them and a place to discuss:

Coupon discussion by the source. Because coupons come from many places, we have forums dedicated to each type where you can find out about, and even discuss these coupons & see what to watch for in your area.

Rebates that are out and being talked about. Rebates can be a huge part of helping you save. Know what companies put out rebates, what they are for and where they are found.

Take a look at our Forums list. We have the board divided up into like categories. Each item listed describes what is found inside. Take some time to browse and see which forums are ones you want to visit regularly.

When you are looking at any hotcouponworld page there are tabs, a toolbar and links. Make sure to check those out too. The tabs are the grey tabs to the right starting with Home. Below that is your own toolbar. User CP is where you manage your account. Be sure to click all of the links to see what they do. Also, often missed, at the bottom of every page is a list of links. Make sure to scroll all the way down and check those out as well.
