I'm a HCW newbie!

Hi,

I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I have visited the boards periodically, but this is my first post! My name is Tam, and I live in NC. I am relatively new to couponing. My sister got me hooked about 2 months ago...let me just say, I can't believe I had never couponed before this! I could have saved a ton of money over the years, had I only started sooner. Regardless, I am starting now, and will be saving tons over the years to come! :)

I've found the board very helpful, especially with grocery store (i.e. Harris Teeter) ad previews. As I coupon and learn, I hope I will be able to contribute useful info and good deal links to everyone else!

You will find many forums dedicated to bringing you all the best deals at the stores you shop and online vendors. But how do our members find these coupons they use to buy those 25 cans of soup or 15 bottles of shampoo? What do you do if your stores will double coupons with a face value of .99 or less but you’ve never seen an insert coupon for anything but $1/2 your favorite chips?



Get trading! Send coupons to other members that you can’t use and they’ll send you ones you can. Or trade coke codes, stamps, rebate forms, box tops for education, even UPC codes. You’ll be surprised at things you never knew had value that people are looking for! By getting values of the coupons you need and multiples of each, you can begin to build your stockpile of food and household items and see your savings add up!



By joining up as a Trader in Training, you can begin to make trades with other members for the coupons and forms you really want. You will start off slowly only having access to some of the Trading forums to get used to how we do trading.
