Hi, and welcome. I found when I was first starting that I was taking on too much at one time. I then decided to concentrate on either one or two stores and/or the items I spent the most money on. I have been on for more than a year now and am still learning and I know that there are others that are much better at this than I am.
I just concentrated on what I felt I could handle at a time and was quite happy with the amount of money I saved.
Oh, and remember their are a lot of us out here and more than happy to answer your questions.

My thoughts would be to take it slow, baby steps. I take small victories and learn here. I don't try to do EVERYTHING that is done here because I would get overwhelmed. Some trips are better than others, and time wise I am not one to go to several stores with my limited time. But I plan what and where and take advantage of what I can.

I would suggest looking at this site. Either choose one store you shop at and look at the deals there. Try joining the TNT group, there are lots of good help and ideas there.

Finally enjoy the ride, you will see many different things but enjoy the savings and enjoy the members.

Welcome fellow Washingtonian. I still get overwhelmed sometimes but even just tackling one store to start with can save you a lot of money and then you can branch out from there. I am still working on branching out to other stores in my area. Just stick with it. It is worth the effort in the long run.

Welcome from another WA mama. I have to say it truly depends on where you live the amount you are going to save, DON'T, I repeat DON'T try to compare yourself to many of those blogs and such that you may see out there. Thing is depending on where you are at in the state you may just not have the same opportunities that people in other areas in the US may have. We rarely get doubles, that's just the fact, but that doesn't mean that all is lost. I have been on here since Feb(before that couponing a year-not hardcore though) and I have learned sooooo much from here, it truly is amazing, and my saving have soared.

I don't have many places I can go I live in the sticks so I have Rite Aid, Walmart, and Safeway. If I am lucky enough I may be able to go to the "big city" lol and go to a Target or something, those trips are few and far between. I do have to say I have a HUGE diaper stockpile for our baby due in 2 months and it was all from deals I learned on here, plus I have a stockpile in my house of "stuff" all from couponing and sales. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
