Newb in N.C.

Hi everyone,

I saw a news clip on WRAL with Faye and she turned me onto this site. I've been trying to Save money recently as the gas prices have been rising. My husband and I both commute 50 miles round trip each day. Gas is guzzling up our budget so I'm cutting cost through groceries among other things. I'm hoping to gain much insight here. I must admit I'm a bit giddy with excitement too.

A little about me:
I've been couponing off and on for about a year and I'm slowly getting the hang of it. I'm not near as good as some of the folks here but I try. My husband LOVES to go to Lowe's Foods with me to see how much I save. It amazes him sometimes!

I am a graphic designer for a company in Garner, NC and I love my job and I'm very blessed to have awesome co-workers.

I have one daughter, Amber, who will be a senior in high school this year.

I also have one very spoiled cat (thanks to the bogo q's for cat treats )
