Hi Eileen, I would suggest that you study one store at a time. It can be overwhelming to try to do CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid and grocery stores in your area all at once. Read all about the store of your choice in your area and take a 'virgin run'. Remember, any savings you have will be more than you used to get so pat yourself on the back or give yourself a high five. I'd like to see that one.

To all of you for the encouragement and wise words to take it slow. I did purchase a coupon binder in advance with baseball card sleeves; albeit, not much of those are filled, but in time....in time. I walk to my stores (urban life, don'tchaknow) with a little red cart! Heehee. Stopped home after 2; went on to 2 others. Total spent before store deals/coupons: $210.70. Store deals/coupons = $56.67, bringing my total OOP to $154.03. In this array are some snacks that (if my family can control themselves!) should last us 10 to 14 days; doubled chop meat found in an unadvertised deal that was lower than the "loss leader" in the circular...that type.

Thanks for the tip about not doing all the places at once. It is truly dizzying for the beginner. Have a happy Memorial Day weekend all!:smile77:
