Coupon stacking/policy question

I thought we were talking about manufacturer's CATS as well as manufacturer's coupons.
Here was my original question to corporate:
"I have a question about your coupon poilcy. Am I able to
use a manufacturer's coupon as well as a catalina coupon that printed from
your registers to purchase the same item.
For instance, if I am purchasing a box of Cheerios and have a .50 off
manufacturer's coupon for Cheerios as well as a catalina coupon for .50 off a box, can they both be used on one box of Cheerios?"

Here is the reply:
"Thank you for your inquiry. Yes you can use the manufacturer's coupon and
the catalina coupon on the same item. Thank you for your business.

Kylie Shafer
Customer Service"

So according to corporate, yes you can use both on one item.
