Well, I could show you quite a few posts on the various boards that I came across when running a Google search, but I'm not allowed to link to other message boards (though I am sure it's been covered on this board many times too). It really is universal language.

If however, you want proof positive, you could contact any number of companies to see what their interpretation is for their specific coupons.

They have the ability to put anything they want on their coupons. 1 per purchase, 1 per transaction, or even 1 per person or per household. They can limit sizes and/or amounts of the Q. They have total control and they know what they are doing. If they say, 1 per purchase, that's exactly what they mean, 1 coupon for each purchase made.

I used the example of 20 widgets and 1 Q, but the same could be said for 1 item and trying to use 20 Qs on that 1 item to get it free. Neither of which will fly if you try it at any store.

P&G have recently changed their Qs to 4 like Qs per transaction to keep people from buying more in any 1 transaction. They could have just as easily changed that to 1 like Q per transaction, but they didn't want that much restriction put on their products. That is an assumption on my part, but it's a pretty educated assumption if I do say so myself.

Many stores allow this so I don't see why you both have issues with it. Maybe because your stores don't? The manager at my CVS rings me up himself sometimes and has let me use coupons on BOGO's as well.

Don't worry; I'm not interested in starting fights with people I don't even know. I just thought it would be nice to share a great deal. Also, 4 of my coupons were alike with the same expiration date, and the 5th had a different expiration. Therefore, I did not violate P&G's rule of only 4 like coupons per transaction either.

I'm not interested in starting fights, however I saw this and had to comment. My reason for feeling very strongly against it comes down to this: It is coupon fraud pure and simple it is 100% illegal and cashiers have gotten fired for far less then the "deal" you described. Although I have plenty of great cashiers/managers who would push through just about any transaction I present it falls completely into the just because you can doesn't mean you should. Coupon fraud hurts everyone and makes all couponers look bad, I'm actually not sure how your post didn't get modded as it was. You should read this thread- specifically part 3. http://www.hotcouponworld.com/community-rules/coupon-fraud/

Coupon fraud is stealing. It can lead up to 20 years in prison and fines as high as $5 million. Though normally it is only 3 to 5 years in prison and fines around $200,000. There are specific agencies hired to spot and bring people committing coupon fraud to justice.

I get that you probably didn't realize what you were/are doing is wrong, but once you are educated if you continue to do so, well don't be surprised if it gets you in trouble someday.
