Thanks Revvin. I hope you are surviving. DH usually gets a Weis GC at Thanksgiving from his employer and I have two $5/50 coupons that expire at the end of the year so I'll be looking for some deals.

Not much exciting...Breakstone Sour Cream is reduced to $1.29--I had printed two of the .55/1 coupons, so a great deal since my store doubles up to $1. They also had Lindsay Recloseable Black Olives on sale $2/4, and I had 4 coupons for $1/1, so got them for $1 each, not a great deal but okay. They all had peelies under the lid for .55/1.
Our store also had the entire Dollar section 50% off--big sign right there with paper bags to fill if you wanted. Watch when you check out--the coloring books and erasers we bought rang up for $1.

I'm not sure how this varies by area, but even if the weekly deals are blah I make it a point to go to Weis every week on Tuesday or Wednesday for the meat markdowns. Yesterday at my Weis they had Hillshire Farm deli meat for $.99 (use by date of 11/20) and Premio hot italian sausage for $1 per pack after the $2 off Weis coupon peelie (use or freeze by 11/17). I've also noticed the thick cut bacon, various brands, have been marked down regularly to about $1.29 per package. I LOVE getting cheap meat!

I basically stopped going to Weis. They never have anything on sale in stock and I get sick of having to get rainchecks every week. It's a newly remodeled, bigger store and they said they would be carrying more items, and it seems worse than before. I've given it about a yr since they remodeled, and they just are not stocking enough different items and enough stock, period. It's sad because it used to be my favorite store and it's close for me.

Hate to say it, but Giant or WM gets my business now.
