(((Linda))) I'm so sorry you are dealing with so much. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers. It's so hard to watch someone you love being so sick.

It's really hard to find things to do w/ him being so medicated. We just try to stay as quiet as possible, so he's not irritated more than necessary. We try to all be in the living room w/ him. He is asleep more than he is awake. He's not really 'up' to doing anything.

I feel the same way Erma Bombeck, when she said "I just wish he didn't trust me so much." (or something to that effect)![]()

I am so sorry to hear about your husband. I know this is a touchy subject with some people and I don't know whether to refrain from posting or take my chances. I'm going to go with the latter because you just might find some benefit to it throughout your ordeal.
You say that your husband is suffering from nausea, and from reading, that appears to not be a direct result of chemo at this point in time, but please do a bit of research on the medical benefits of marijuana while undergoing chemo. I have heard that for some people who have used it, they have had zero nausea while undergoing treatment. No kidding, oncologists have even been known to put it on their patients doorsteps (anonymously of course) because the benefits are so great.
I am certainly not trying to push drugs into anyone's lives and I do not use it myself, but under these types of circumstances, I really think it should be legalized because the benefits are overwhelming.
I will keep your husband in my prayers.
I can't think of anything to say revvin but that you are all in my prayers. My personal favorite hard-time scripture is Psalms 34:18 "God is near to those broken in heart and those crushed in spirit he saves." I hope you can find some comfort in it as well.
Thanks guys.
I'm getting on here later than planned tonight, due to late nurse's visit, and changes to meds, etc.
I'll have the new ad posted before I quit for the night. :)
