Weis Nature Valley 'cat' deal-what's working; what's not

List here which ones that you have bought w/ or w/o problems.
I have gotten these 3 kinds, and all 3 of them have caused problems for me. grrr.


NONE of these work: :sad:
Trail Mix Dark Chocolate & Nut
Trail Mix Variety Pack-Dark Chocolate Nut & Fruit & Nut
Yogurt Variety Pack-Vanilla, Blueberry, and Strawberry

Now, who do I hollar at, for getting me hooked on these yogurt ones??? lol

I don't think I've ever seen a promotion at Weis that was botched, take so long to get fixed!

I am not sure which work and which don't. The only order I did, I got:

2 Chex Mix bars- one turtle, one chocolate chunk
2 NV trail mix bars

Price rang up $2.50 for each and no cat. I got $5.50 taken off my order($4.00 plus one box free) and a rain check for $2.50 on my next order)


My mom got:

3 NV Trail mix bars
1 NV Yogurt bars

Got the $2.50 cat but was charged $2.50 per box. She went back and got her $4.00 but one box should have been free..and she didnt press the issue.

I am done with this deal because I don't need the hassle. Seems like they offer these 'deals' to lure customers into their stores, don't honor them on purpose and then when it's brought to their attention, we are told we interpreted the ad wrong or some other excuse as to why we can't get the deal...probably in the hopes that we say don't worry about it and pay the higher price. It happens with nearly every deal they have, at least at my 3 local stores. The ad clearly states when you purchase 4 of these bars(didnt say must be all same variety etc) you get them for $1.50 per box PLUS a $2.50 ONYO catalina coupon. We get treated so poorly by customer service for trying to save some money and by trying to get deals printed in THEIR ads. It's crazy if you ask me.

Thanks. Looks like none of the Trail Mix ones are working so far. Which is kind of funny (ok, not really); it was pictured in the ad.
I'm an understanding person, but this really 'takes the cake'.

Cashew chewy and variety chewy boxes work.
The chocolate and the crunchy are not part of the promo:(

Got fed up and filled my cart with 22 boxes of expired nature valley and betty crocker snacks and took them to CS. The one box had expired in OCT 2008! Think they are trying to clear old product for new merchandise.:(

I did the deal on Thursday with Chewy Trail Mix 2 Mixed Berry, 1 Variety Pack (apple cinnamon, fruit/nut/mixed berry), and 1 Fruit and Nut. I did receive my cat. It beeps like crazy, but it does print out for those.

those are the ones i purchased and they worked.

my boo-boo was picking up kellogg's fruit snacks for one of them not betty crocker. my cs was awesome, let me just replace it (they were the same price), gave me $1 weis buck (i had gotten a $1.50 cat for buying 3, not the $2.50 for buying 4). while she was looking she was like "damn, that's a good deal, i have to buy some". i wished i'd had more coupons, i would have given her some.

I have bought Sweet N Salty in all varieties - cashew, peanut and almond. All of these worked. I just keep getting these every time because I know that they work without a hassle.

None of the Chex mix, NV or fruit snacks printed CATS @ my store. I got every single kind of fruit snacks too! A total of 64 boxes, made
$14.50 , and not one CAT printed!!! But I think cash back is much better
