Cpn amounts, how can you prove you were cheated?

I'm a little upset at Weis, well, not really Weis, but the kid who checked me out. I did get all the cats I was supposed to get, but got cheated on coupon amounts. How can you prove you got cheated on coupon amounts when it says nothing but "coupon" and like -$1.00??:shrug7:

They have new computers at this Weis. The checker had trouble finding the amounts of the items that I had free cpns for, so I think he was just making up amounts. Anyway, I had 4 Free cpns, 1 for a box of Cheerios up to $4.85, 1 for Pillsbury pizza crust $2.29, and 2 for Promise Supershots $3.49. Then I also had two $5 cpns for Osteo-Bi-Flex (these were B0G0) and a $4 cpn for Renuzit Uniscents. Then I also had a bunch of $1 cpns and a few .50 cpns.

I know they used to only be able to take off no more than $2 at a time, but I think with the new equipment it must not matter. Anyway, he took off 1 amount for $3.00, 1 for $2.29 (pizza crust) and 2 for .39 and 1 for .75, all with "Free" beside them. WTH? :hectic1:I don't see any for $5 or for $4. The cereal was $3.85 and the supershots were $3.49 each and I don't see either of those. There are quite a few for $1 taken off, but I did have quite a few $1 cpns. So how can I prove he didn't take off the big amounts when I no longer have the cpns and it either says "scanned coupon" or "mfg coupon" beside amounts?? I'm rather upset because my total amount should have been like $18 less than it was, and I'm hurting for money this wk!:frown:

I'm taking my receipt in tomorrow with these item amounts and cpn amounts circled, but how can I prove it? Can they look it up by barcodes? He keyed in a lot of the cpn amounts, so no barcodes recorded. This Weis is usually pretty good with these CS service, so I just hope they believe me.

I would go back to the store with my receipt and state what happened. I have had coupon mistakes on my order "several" times and they always return my money. (I always check my receipt before I leave the store and if there is a mistake, I go to cs and they immediately go to that register and check out the coupons.) There is someone in the cash office that goes over the coupons so maybe she can help you if they would give you any kind of hassle.

Thanks! I took my receipt in today and explained everything. We went over my receipt and she wrote down the amounts owed me, and I got back $22, thank goodness. She said the guy that checked me out was new. Well, then he should have asked if he didn't know how to take off the Free and higher amount cpns. He sure put on a good act! But my Weis has always been good about mistakes.

I just knew that bill was too high last night, but I was more concerned about my cats they owed me ($12) and only checked those before I left, duh!
