Q. How do I contact Walmart via email?
A.By e-mail To contact Walmart by e-mail, fill out their online feedback form.Submit feedback for your local Wal-Mart Or Submit feedback for our corporate headquarters

Q. How do I contact Walmart via snail mail?
A. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Bentonville, Arkansas 72716-8611.

Q. How do I contact Walmart via telephone?
A. 1-800-WAL-MART (1-800-925-6278).

Q. What is Walmart's coupon policy?
A. You may view and PRINT to take into the store Wal-Marts coupon policy HERE

Wal-Mart accepts the following types of coupons (see guidelines below):
  • Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
  • Free merchandise (or Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
  • Store coupons
  • Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons
  • Internet coupons
  • Soft drink container caps
The following are guidelines and limits:
  • Wal-Mart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
  • Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Wal-Mart will not accept expired coupons.
  • Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon." There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
  • Only one coupon per item is permitted.
  • Use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager.
Q. What is Walmarts return policy?
A. (Source Walmartstores.com)

SATISFACTION GUARANTEED
Our goal is to satisfy our Customers... by Exchange, Refund, or Repair.
Q. Does WalMart accept internet printables?

A. (Source was an email sent to me by a friend long time ago..this was Walmarts email back to her)

Wal-Mart Stores can accept coupons that are available on the internet for customers to print from their home computers. The following are guidelines for the stores for accepting internet coupons:

- The coupon should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon". There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer, to ensure the coupon can be processed for payment.
- The coupon should have a scan-able bar code.
- The coupon should have an expiration date.
- The coupon cannot be a photocopy.
- The limit is one coupon per item, per Customer.
- A Salaried Manager can refuse to accept a coupon if it does not meet any or all of these guidelines.
Q. Does Walmart give overage on coupons?

A. This is a tricky question. Lets play out what happens when you purchase a .97c item and have a $1.00/1 coupon...
  1. Cashier scans item
  2. Cashier scans coupon
  3. Register beeps with prompt on the screen for cashier "Correct coupon amount?"
  4. Cashier can hit the "Yes" button and register will give overage OR cashier can enter the price of the item .97c OR he/she can get all flustered and decide that you can not use the coupon because its beeping and they don't know what that means...in this case ask for a STORE manager to assist.
Q. What about Uscans?

A. Each stores' Uscans are set up differently, some ask that you hand all coupons over to the Uscan overseer, some let you scan and put them in the little slot yourself. In my experiance the overage senario is the same as regular registers with the overseer needing to aprove all overage coupons as well as B1G1 and frees.

Q. Coupons that start with the number 9..why do they beep?

A. The answer is not clear WHY they beep, but I can tell you that walmarts registered are programed to beep and not accept coupons that start with a 9 (9 being the first number in the barcode on a coupon..this usually has to do with doubling, so don't ask me why they beep at Walmart!) So watch your blinkies and other coupons for the dreaded "9s". The cashiers CAN override, but they are hesitant to do so..be prepared for a fight.

Q. What should I bring with me besides my money and my coupons?

A. Here are some things you MAY want to consider bringing along if your Walmart is one that tends to give you hassles over coupons.
  1. Your cell phone pre-programed with corp number.
  2. The name of your store manager so that you can throw it around when you tell the cashier that "Scott SoAndSo" the store manager said yes..you can override the coupon"
  3. Examples of coupons that say "One per purchase", "One per transaction or store visit" and "One per customer". This may be helpfull when they think you can only use one coupon because it says one per purchase.
  4. A prepared schpeil on what DND means...because some cashier think double coupons means using more than one coupon per transaction.
  5. Comfy shoes..you may be waiting awhile.
  6. Your patience..you may need it!

Q. Where can I find the information on the Immediate Response Team?

A. Information provided by VJWilson 27
Did you know you can call Walmart's home office (and even have a real live person answer the phone) and have their "Immediate Response" unit take care of you right then and there. (During normal business hours of 8am-5pm central) They will contact the store and get everything taken care of. Whether it's them not writing rainchecks, not accepting valid coupons, horrible customer service, not accepting printed coupons, etc. They really make stores stand up and take notice. This is NOT tied in with the 1-800 customer service number. It goes directly to the home base of Walmart. The number isn't really published anywhere... (Gee I wonder why ) Anyway, put it in your cell phone and if you ever have any problems give them a call. Sometimes even just the mention of calling "Bentonville" is enough to get them to straighten up.

479-273-4000
Q. Where can I find information on price matching ?

A. Check Walmart's published policy HERE

Price matching

Our goal is always to be the low price leader in every community where we operate. Our customers trust us to have every day low prices ... there's no need for "special sales."

Our unbeatable promise:

Store managers make the final decision in always taking care of our customers, but we do have guidelines for matching our competition.

We do honor "Preferred Shopping Card" advertised prices. Must be like items, be advertised and require a competitor's shopping card, for the discount to apply.
We do not honor advertisements that require a purchase in order to receive the advertised price or free product.
We do not honor "Buy One / Get One Free" advertisements.
We do not honor double or triple coupons or percent off advertisements.
We do not honor other retailers' "Misprinted" advertised prices.
We do not honor Internet Pricing.
We do not honor competitor advertisements from outside of the store's or Club's local trade territory.
Q. Does Wal-Mart give rainchecks?

A. Yes, on some items
Walmart's Advertised Merchandise Policy - We intend to have every advertised item in stock. However, we may not offer some items in all locations, and quantity or availability may vary due to unexpected demand or other circumstances beyond our control. If an advertised item is out-of-stock at your Walmart, upon your request, we will issue you a Rain Check so that you can purchase the item at the advertised price when it becomes available. In addition, we may offer to sell you a similar item at the advertised price or a comparable price reduction. "While Supplies Last" items, "Bonus" items, items identified as being available in limited quantities, and items that are not carried at your Walmart do not qualify for Rain Checks or offers of substitute items. "WHILE SUPPLIES LAST" items are items that we carry at a special price for a limited time or that we do not intend to continue to carry on a regular basis. "BONUS" items are items that include a bonus amount of the same item or an additional bonus item at no extra cost. "ROLLBACK" means that the advertised price is even lower than the previously offered Every Day Low Price. In all cases, we reserve the right to limit quantities to normal retail purchases or one-per-customer or household, and to exclude dealers. Our advertising circular may vary by geographic region, and any particular regional circular will apply only to stores in that region. Offers and limitations void where prohibited by law. We apologize for, but will not be bound by, any errors in our advertisements.
Any other questions??? Ill try my best to answer them for you.

Re: Walmart FAQ

I'm sorry if I've missed where these questions have been answered previously.

1. Does Wal-Mart have an official policy (like the coupon policy) for price matching?

2. Will they accept say a CVS Q for $3/$15?

3. The coupon policy says they take one coupon per item. If doing a Walgreen's special in the weekly flyer that utilizes an Easysaver Q or a weekly (7 day) ad Q & you want to use a MFR Q, is there a possibility of doing it?

Thanks for your help.

Re: Walmart FAQ

Price match shop at Wal-Mart Saturday.

I was told:

1. Wal-Mart would match other stores' ads (except BOGO);
2. They do not accept competitor's coupons.

They actually let me "buy" 73 Reach Ultimate Care toothbrushes (price matched WAG @ $2 less $2 Reach Q) for $-0- and 6 Reach In Between toothbrushes for the same amount. Oh and 10 Band Aid boxes for $1 less $1 Q.

The Wal-Mart price on the All detergent was about the same as CVS BOGO price less $1 Q.

Hint: I asked about the policy at customer service prior to shopping and also asked who would be the best cashier to use. She said #6 would be best but gave me 3 other numbers too. I'm glad I asked - it was a breeze!

What about price matching CVS ads? They told me that for CVS you have to have their store card for their sales so it's only something that you can only get at CVS. They mentioned that price matching a grocery store, for example, one without a store card, would be o.k.

Also another question: I bought something at Walmart the other day and the register price didn't match the shelf price. I asked the cashier who said that they probably just changed the price and it hasn't shown up yet at the register. Am I not suppose to get the shelf price? Anyways, it was only 2 cents more although I bought 12 of them which translates into 24 cents more, so I just let it go.

They should have matched the price. Call management.

Call management, lol. If the price is wrong and you are charged more than what the shelf says they are suppose to override the price of the first one by $3 and then match the price on the shelf for any more of the product you have. So, if your item was $1.50, suppose to be $1.25, they would give it to you free. If the item rang as $4.75, suppose to be $4.50, they would take off $3 and it would then cost you $1.50.

Customer service may handle this for you, but there's always a chance they won't. If it happens again just take your receipt up to the service desk and explain to them, if they won't handle it the way I said they should, then ask for management.

You even might want to look at the stand near the debit/credit machine (most people throw their purse up there) under the plastic is a sign explaining the $3 price guarantee so you may just be able to point that out to the cashier next time.

Has anyone used the Scan right policy?? I was in Walmart today & they had animal crackers w/a rollback price of 2/$3.00. Receipt says 1.64/each. So I should get those free, right?

Then I bought some Chef Boy R Dee & some rang up as .62 & some .98. I'm pretty sure the rollback price was .62 on all those I bought....so I should get those all free as well, right?

I didn't notice until I got home, but will go back if it means all free.

Thanks!

No. The scan right policy is the first item is either free if under $3, or $3 is taken off of its price. All the rest are scanned at the what it should have been price.

So, 1.64 back for the first box of crackers, and then 14c for all the rest.
