Re: Walmart FAQ What happens many time with a coupon and buying a trial size item is that the price of the trial size is less than the value of the coupon. For example lets say you want to get skintimate shave gel in the trial size and the price is .97c. And you have $1.00/1 coupon (good on ANY size) when the cashier scans the coupon the register more than likely will beep and ask the cashier "correct amount?" The cashier at this point has basicaly three options. 1 - She can hit enter and the coupon goes through and you will then get .03 cents overage to apply towards other items you are buying (always buy something to cover the overage because they are hesitant to give you cash back). 2 - The cashier can modify the coupon value to match the price of the item, in this case .97c. or 3 - She can tell you that they wont accept the coupon - insert lame excuse here. And if that happens I would suggest that you immediatly ask for a manager and then whip out your copys of the Walmart coupon policy, because if the coupon does not have a limit on the size of item that you wish to buy you should be able to get the trial sizes. It is also a good idea to show the manager a coupon that you have that DOES have a size limit so that you can show him/her that the coupon you are using says "Any" and if the manufacture wanted to limit you from purchasing trial sizes they would print on the coupon some sort of wording that limits the use of the coupon on trial sizes.
