ok help me out with this

I visited my Walmart yesterday...I was buying the 2 CT breathe rite strips...I had 6 of them n 6 coupons..the cashiers stopped ring in up my coupons (i also had some razors n gum coupons)n went to the manager n came back n said we r nt allowed to take these coupons because they don't have a barcode...I said yes they do n I pointed it out n she said its nt a barcode n said tht if I wanted to I could only use one of them.....I left without buying them n I called 1800walmart just to check the coupon policy n they said their policy states one coupon per item n that's wht I was doing....wht shld I have done...I didn't wanna b in the wrong n argue but I have checked the policy multiple times because I have alot of problems with coupons at Walmart lately....they keep telling me that when the coupon says one coupon per purchase it means u can only use one coupon per transaction....I get that every time I use coupons at Walmart now....wht wld u have done?'

I've learned to always have a coupon policy on hand, that always help with qs I'm getting overage on. As far as the one coupon per transaction, I would show them ALL the coupons I have & let them see that it states that on all coupons, I would especially show the P&G coupons to show that it states 4 per item per transaction & if I'm not mistaken one coupon per purchase. Just curious where in the store you found the strips...I couldnt find them.
