Walmart cashier

Okay this is my first post on here so I would like to say Hello everyone my name is Jessica I am from sw iowa.I have a husband who works in the backroom at walmart and 2 girls(3 and 4 years old and 1 baby boy (2 months old)

I went to walmart with the $2/3 Nabisco coupons and I thought i took 3 of them with me.The total after the coupons was no correct so I said "did i give you 3 coupons?" She said "no" she did not even count to make sure.....Then i wanted cretin one's taken off and she did not listen to me.... So when I got home I counted my coupons because I had 20 of them from ebay. I looked up and down for my coupon and I was correct I did give the cashier 3 of them.So I talked to my husband about this lady.He said "next time go to the service desk because the cashiers in the morning i don't even know why they work there and that's stealing from a customer and he told me to go talk to Jennifer our store manager because she won't put up with that kind of thing going on.Should I go to the store manager next time (my husband works here)?Has this ever happen to you?

You can try and talk to customer service or the managager but honestly...it may be too late I would not say that the cashier is trying to steal from you..that is just hear say...just say you used 3 coupons and it is not reflective in what your total is, and maybe they can look in the till...but I usually figure unless I notice it immediately after the fact..I'm out of luck. It can honestly just be that the coupons just stuck to each other. It happens from time to time.

I don't know about your walmarts, but mine have video camera's right on top of the registers..so I really doubt they are stealing..it would be caught on camera.

I don't think it would be stealing either. She's not going to be able to send the coupon in to redeem it herself. Or do you think she is going to use it herself? I wouldn't make any waves since your husband works there. But I would have gone to customer service right away.

I've made it a habit to pretty much hand q's over one at a time...yeah it's more time consuming but I can be assured that they went through. If I were you I would not start waves at a store your DH works at, saving a buck or two doesn't do you any good if DH's out of a job...JMO!

I agree about giving coupons one at a time or one item at a time. It annoys the cashiers; but I don't care. If I have a lot of coupons I group them together and count them out loud while handing them to the cashier. I'd say, " 1...2...3....Nabisco coupons," handing her only those 3 and watching the total and listening for beeps before handing her more. Sometimes they will even ask me for the whole stack. I just tell them I want to count them out and make sure everything matches up and comes off the total.

No My Husband thought she would use it for her shelf not send it into the company.thanks everyone i will start doing that also!
