I just had the last straw with one Walmart in my area. I went to the store with my ad mind you to take advantage of a great B1 at 29.99 get 1 free on a software game my boyfriend plays. When I got to the cashier he had to call the front end manager because he never heard of an ad match guarantee. She informed me that this walmart does not adhere to the policy and does not accept any B1G1. I then asked her if Corporate knew that and she said she didnt care what they thought it was her store. I asked her to show me a copy of the ad match policy just in case I was misreading it and she refused to show me. She said that people like me, and yes she did go there, and couponers were just trying to steal from her store in a legal way. I told her that it was people like me that kept her store alive and that for now on I would be driving the extra 20 minutes to go to the nicer and more educated walmart. I usually do not get upset but when someone tells me that I have been lieing and stealing I draw the line. The fact that they do overages is nice but when you have a hard time finding the products and when managers are even rude and accuse you of false actions it doesnt make the overages worth it.

I actually called Corporate and they transfered me right away to a higher up manager and after hearing what I had to say he told me he would call me back within 3 hours and he kept apologizing and said he would make sure I was taken care of. I let him know I didnt expect anything I just thought they should be aware of what one of their stores is doing to their customers. He agreed and said that almost daily they are getting a complaint about this store. I know sometimes it doesnt help to call and complain but hopefully no one ever is made to feel the way I felt in that store today.
1 have one quick question. In the ad match - did it state BIG1 free and list an amount? "example - play station game 29.99 BIG1 free' - Per their policy - it must state a price, not just BOGO.
Nonetheless, I would follow up with this. Was this the store manager you spoke to? If not, ask to speak to one. If it was, ask for a district manager. calling corportae will probbaly just result in them 'documenting' the call and telling you they will forward the info to the store mgr anyway.
In no way am I justifing what this mgr said to you, cause it was wrong for anyone to speak to you that way. Hope it gets straightened out.
Yeah the add said B1 at 29.99 G1 Free. I made sure of it and even had someone double check me just incase I was seeing things. The store manager, who looked like the front end managers son, came over and backed her up. Im just so tired of all the stuff I am reading and seeing at Walmart.
