    Default Barcode with 5

I have seen a few posts here that says "barcode that starts with 5" That you can double, but does Walmart secretivly take these as double? I feel like Im getting "ripped off" so to speak, I tried to use a second coupon like that, and it beeped. So Im lost on that aspect. I know walmart doesnt double, but was wondering if there are strings that can be pulled on those that start with the 5? Because I have TONS that start with 5

    Thanks

Walmart doesn't double coupons, as you said. In order to double those coupons you need to find a store that has a policy of doubling coupons.

I think you may be misunderstanding what doubling is. It isn't allowing you to use a second coupon on the item, it is when the value of one single coupon is doubled in face value.

Yes, but only in a store that does doubles.

Are you sure? I didn't think that Walgreens doubled at all. Most stores where doubling is the policy will have software programmed in their system to automatically do it. You just have to watch and make sure it did.

You may want to go to the store forums here for the stores that you have in your area and check the store policy FAQ's. There could be some grocery stores in your area that double that you don't know about.

There are a few select stores in a few markets that are trying out doubling at Walmart but they have to do it by hand, odds are your Walmart is not doing it.

The coupons that start with a 9 are actually an annoying thing at Walmart because they will beep and spit out the journal and will not work no matter what they do and have to be pushed through. If your store is a stickler for no IP's that don't scan, FYI coupons that start with a 9 will be a no go at your store.
