walmart-Am I wrong or what!

So I went in today to get somethings so I got the 2.97 ky or so I thought before I left the store I looked at my recipte and they where 6.77 well I went to return them and asked if I used coupons on them.I said yes so they only refunded my the after coupon amount.and didnt give me the coupons back am I wrong or does this just seem like there just gonna earn 15.00 back but never sold the product.sould i of been able to get fullvalue you back or my coupons?

I would call and speak to the manager and explain you had bought the wrong one, and returned them, but the coupon nor the amount of the coupon was returned to you.

This is one of those YMMV things. How quickly had you noticed? A few minutes, hours, the next day????

The sucky thing is they cannot put the KY back on the shelf they have to throw it away. It's not there fault you purchased the wrong one.

This is why I don't return that kind of stuff..unless it's faulty/bad/something is wrong with it. It gets really complicated to return something when you have used a coupon.

They can't return the coupons to you. They have to have them to match the original transaction you did. If they get audited they could get in trouble.

They cant give the coupon back to you because it will affect the cash balance for that cashier. You should have got the full price back tho.

It was with in a few minutes of check out.they had the 6.77 one in the 2.97 ones spot so i grabed them.not really my fault either im not a walmart stocker.

They should have given you the full value. But what they should do and what they will do are 2 different things.
I would call the manager and explain. You hadn't even left the store. He will hopefully be able to mentally follow the coupon trail and realize the store is gaining your coupon value and leaving you without anything.

I've never returned merchandise that I've used a coupon for at WM. It makes sense why they can't return the actual coupon though. Thanks for mentioning that. :)

It's also good idea to use their scanner to verify prices.

If it was in the wrong spot you should have got them for that price...meaning they should have gave you the differance in what you paid and the price on the spot that you got them from...

I don't understand what is the reasoning as to why you feel they should refund you over and above a price you paid? That is just an open invitation to let ppl use coupons and then return them for full price.

Even if they were in the wrong spot, the tags would not have matched up with the product, unless the shelf was completely stocked. Stock gets pushed around all the time so always make sure you match the labels to the product.
