    QUESTION Question

    Ive seen several people at my local walmart writing what it appears to be UPC's off of things. Is that illeagle?

    If they have already purchased the item I don't see a problem with that. I have had to do that before because I threw the box away and there was a rebate with it. I alway say let your conscience be your guide.

    no. It is just like people with IPhones, taking a photo of the image and finding a better price somewhere else. You can take the UPC codes and do the same. If they try to use UPC on sweepstakes and such, it will come back and bite them when the company asks for the receipts, which is the companies legal right to do.
