Does anyone know if Walmart will honor double coupon from the Kmart event this week? I have read in some places they will but I wanted to turn to the experts!!

My Walmart store, while extremely liberal in price match and coupon policies, does not honor any double coupon deals. Official policy states that they do not honor double or triple value coupons. Your best bet is to call and ask for either the Front End Assistant Manager or the Store Manager. Walmart tends to give management some discretion on stuff like that.

I've never used the price match at Wal-Mart. This may be a dumb question but do they do it at the register or is it something I have to do at customer service? I wasnt' sure if it's something I have to tell the cashier as it is being rung up or do something else. Also, how do they know what the price match should be if I don't bring the flyer with me?

Per official policy, NO. But like you, I've read of other branches that allow it but I don't know how they do it. You can ask your branch and see what they say.

Ad match @ WM is done at the register. It is best to have your store ad with you to show cashier what you're matching. Sometimes they ask, sometimes they don't, but having the ad saves you a lot of time and aggravation.

I read that stores are required to have all the local ads @ each register for cashier's reference BUT don't count on it, so its best to have your own ad.

They price match at the register. I don't think that you HAVE to bring the ad, but I find it easier to do so. Personally, I try to lay all my items out on the belt with the ads on top. I tell the cashier that I'm price matching when the transactions starts. Then before she scans an item I'm price matching I'll tell her/him, 'XXX store has this item for $XX' and they'll enter it right there at the register. It's a great way to keep from running all over town chasing down deals.

My store keeps a binder full of local ads to check, but I just find it easier to bring my own.
