I stunned myself

Last night I used almost $170 in coupons at Walmart. In ONE transaction.

I haven't figured up actual savings on groceries, because we finished up our Christmas shopping, so lots of stuff had no coupons, but altogether, the total looked like this:

$493.xx before coupons.

$324.xx after coupons.

I went to the coupon-friendly Walmart, and had no trouble at all. Several coupons spit out the journal, but since I got the products, the cashier just put them through manually without a blink.

Great job! Did you have to get a manager to approve it? Hate calling attention to myself but got lots of year end expiring coupons to use up would like to just do it all in one trip, walmart this time of year is scary.

yeh some regerster are 40 coupons and some are $40 in coupons..I hate that to. I dont even know why they have it set up that way. All the csm does it look down at the pile of coupons and stick the key and push in her numbers....sometimes it takes them 10 minutes to get there to do that

What sorts of things did you buy? Where did you get the coupons? I am having a harder and harder time finding any I can use! I only clipped on from the All You magazine. I'm not even sure my Walmart carries it. But it was the only one I might be able to use.
