Loving that walmart Price matches produce!

So I never really thought about it or tried it until tonight!

I just price matched onion, bananas, green peppers, plaintains, sweet potatoes (which by the way were 4lbs for $1!), tomatos, apples, and oranges!

I only spent $11.68!!!

Has anyone ever done this before?

In case anyone is in Miami and wants to know what I got I did
Publix Price match
8 plantains for $1
Philadelphia cream cheese $1.25

Sedanos price match
Oranges 6 for $.99
Apples $.99lb
Carrots 3lbs for $.99

Green Peppers 2lbs for $1
Limes 20 for $1.00
Sweet Potatos 4lbs for $1
Tomatos 2lbs for $1
White House Applejuice 2 for $3

I price match produce almost every week.
This week I price matched Albertsons Romaine lettuce @ 1.49 and ground beef @ $1.99, SAL bag apples @ $2.49/3 lbs. Normally I would do more, but I had done quite a few shops at Publix this week and also went to a local Farmers' Market.
It's a great way to save money without having to run around to all of the stores and I have a Super Walmart very close by.

Yes, I use to do it all the time many years ago when my 2 oldest were young. Mostly at x mas time with the toys. Priced matched Toys R Us and walmart but back then they (Walmart) would even give you extra 10%off for not being the lowest. I got out of that habit trying to remember to do it

I've had them do it for me with watermelons and pumpkins but haven't asked about anything else.

I've been doing milk and eggs the last few weeks. Have not tried produce yet.
