I am SO FREAKIN EXCITED!!!! We went to Walmart to pick up an Acer laptop for my daughter for Christmas on Friday that was on slae for $248. They were OOS of course, but told us that another store about 12 miles away had 3 in stock. Off we go. Well, in the same shopping center was a Best Buy, so Hubby & I ran in really quick just to see if maybe they had something better for a comparable price. Well, they had an emachines for $199. Of course, they were OOS as well except for the floor model. They were willing to sell it to us and I was willing to buy it, providing they had the box, which they said they did. So anyways, we go and pay for it adn the Sales Associate goes to get the box and finds out they had just threw it in the box crusher. He goes and talks to the store manager and the manager says that another model, a MUCH better Toshiba laptop was going to be on sale today for $199. Okay, so we get our refund and wait until today. We got up early today and checked the ad and WTF??? It's not $199, it's $269!!! We figure what the heck, and go down there anyways. I happen to see the Saleman that we dealt with on Friday and got to talking to him. As soon as the store opened he told me to go grab one and went and talked to the store manager. They ended up giving us the Toshiba laptop, which was $699 on Friday, for $199 plus a free copy Kaspersky Anti Virus Software with a 6 month subscription and a free 8x8 photo book custom printed from Snapfish. WOOHOOO!!!!

Way to go. I have come to find out that stores are willing to work with you just to gget us to come back.

My 13 yr old daughter will be so happy! And for my 8 yr old, a friend of mine bought a purple Dell Laptop mini and used it one time on a flight and hates that it is so small. She is selling it to me for $100! Both of my girls' big presents are done! WOOHOO!!!! I will be so excited to have my computer back too!!
