Walmart not accepting $2.00/Tide OR $.50/Tide

I've been thinking alot about this. I have come to the decision that I am really not concerned or too broken up about it. It's just a single loader. I think I would much rather use the savings on a great deal on a bottle of detergent and enjoy my savings longer. I am blessed & thankful for the deals that I do get and so glad that I am learning how to save money for my family.

That's cause they don't know why they are beeping. If you want purchase a larger package of Tide and they refuse because it's not the free and clear in the picture call corp and complain loudly. that coupon say's ANY. They need a good lesson on coupons.

Oh i have complained loudly and in front of the CSm's. My local walamart also isnt accepting the 2.00 of any schick razors because the pics dont match for the value price. According to the store manager, the pictures have to match and it has to say good on value price...well you can bet your life im talking with the district and regional manager about this.

Also FYI corporate told me that each Walmart has the right to change the coupon policy as they see fit to their consumers needs. I have called Schick manufacturer for instance and they have told me that the photos are put there for "people who have never used their product" or a "higher end product so they are buying the more expensive with the coupon" Its the description that matters, not the picture. Ill let u all know how it goes.

The bolded part is what is really causing all problems ~ WM is consistently inconsistent. While there are stores that allow couponers to do what benefits them, there are also a lot of branches that would reject all coupons, if they can AND the sad part is when calling WM HQ, you get the message above

Why can't there be just one policy that will be enforced and followed by all branches? What's the use of a corporate written policy when each store is allowed to make their own? It just causes more conflicts between customers and store personnel.

The bolded could be to your benefit though. That could easily mean that a manager should be able to override the coupon policy for customer relations issues. I can also see it, when someone is trying to purchase a ridiculous amount of one product and decides to limit it....so he is trying to protect "all the consumer's ability to buy the product.

It still has nothing to do with you trying to purchase a regular size bottle of regular scent Tide vs free and clear.

do yourself a favor..go to another store. Then send an email to walmart telling them because they were giving you such BS over it..you went to xyz other store and used your coupons.

Heck FD or DG might have decent prices for schick as well.

If not...trade your coupons.

I ought to trade mine, They are never going to have it in stock here. You win some, you lose some.

lets clerify...the Tide isnt a "trial" size its a travel size. So there should be no restrictions on it. My Walmart will take them because of that

It doesn't matter if you want to call it travel or trial..it's a one time use size...AND there are Tide coupons occasionally that will say no trial sizes..and they mean this package.

However the $2 coupon has no restrictions on it. The problem is the barcodes don't match, so the journal spits out saying you haven't purchased the correct item, so the cashier has to push it through..and cashiers are getting in lots of trouble for pushing coupons through in particular coupons that are producing overage.

This coupon is not worth the drama. If you have a Walmart that has management that doesn't hound their cashiers..that is fabulous, then go for it, but if you Walmart doesn't fall under that category, don't cause drama over this silly coupon...do yourself a favor and go to DG or FD and get yourself a $5.99 size bottle of Tide and pay $3.99 for it.

I used the $2.00 tide coupons at my wal mart on the trial and did not have a problem. the overage I used on other items.
