so here is the newest update

Tide WILL reimburse, however since the tide travel packets are actually put out by another company, it is the stores right to refuse to allow the coupon to be used on the travel sizes.

cause anytime you use a coupon on trial Tide the journal will spit out...the UPC doesn't match because Tide no longer packages the Tide..they have another company do it.

So it has to be pushed through..so just a FYI...it will beep..and the journal will spit out saying you didn't purchase the right product..and then your cashier might get all buggy eyed cause you only purchased trial size Tide and the journal is telling them you didn't purchase the correct product.

More coupon drama then I'm willing to go through!

I will probably use mine at FD or DG on a $5.99 or similar priced bottle of Tide...

NOOOOOOO. LOL Actually though our walmart was very cool about pushing the Vick's $1 off coupon through for the Puffs Plus Vicks. At least they were cool about it once I brought in the printed page listing Vick's products including Puffs Plus Vicks.

My Walmarts here will not let me use coupons for the trial Tide. Neither will Target.

It's not negativity; it's experience. No one ever said it couldn't happen. They said it was more trouble than its worth. And it is. I haven't used the Tide Q's on the trial size for years. Once it started beeping and spitting out the journal, I didn't bother to fight for it.

Hmmmm....I used .50/1 q's on Tide singles at my Walmart with no problem a week or so ago, even used the $2/3 Tide on them at my Rite Aid no problem. The Walmart cashier didn't blink...the RA cashier did look at the q from every angle and called the manager over, but then ended up taking it as it didn't specify a size. The singles are so handy for any laundromat trips I may have to take! Looking forward to the $2/1!

I use them on the trial size all the time...sometimes they have a problem sometimes they don't....usually the journal tape spits out....the cashier looks at the coupon....looks at the item...shrugs...says "it says Tide right there on the front" and pushes it through.... with this coupon....I'd probably just pick up two of the trial size...then it's not so obvious...

but it's for issues like this that I have a CURRENT (within the last month...they've argued with me before that it was an outdated copy) copy of the coupon policy in my binder...depending on my mood I will give them grief...not the cashiers usually..but the so called "manager" that they call over..
