Some say thier store will price match the walmart store brand GV with another stores store brand but I have never done it.

I've always been told it has to be an exact match. They will not price match an item they don't carry.
I priced matched store brand for store brand on eggs, milk & sugar and had no problems at all.

My Wally does. I have always done it with eggs & milk. Meat sometimes too!
I have price matched eggs, fresh fruit and meat with no problems.
I think eggs should be fine to price match.
