yikes. that is the way I do it...small transactions.
had a big haul at The Mart today went to a cpn friendly cashier he wanted to see my ads for my PMs which was fine i had them but the $1/3 Swiss Miss cpns (10/2 inserts) beeped and wldnt go through CSM had to come over anyways (over20cpns) she stated and then verified w/ store manager that if the coupons beep they could NOT push them through any longer. She radioed the manager and asked if it was just the IP ones or all and he said it went for ALL coupons that the register didnt take. so i had them void off the 9 boxes of cocoa. then she printed out a journal and proceeded to count all my coupons and verify the amounts i had purchased. she was very apologetic and stated that when they get called over for over 20 beeps they have to count the coupons and match them w/items sold. she said cuz all the IP fraud but i had no printables. I asked her if this was going to continue to be policy so i cld schedule my time accordingly she stated yes and apologized again. other than that everything was fine :/ maybe ill start doing multi transactions jus to avoid even more time at checkout....btw im in central indiana

Contact corp. obviously things like insert coupons that beep are not fraud. Any coupon that start with a 9 will beep at walmart and that doesn't mean they are a fraud coupon. Heck even a coupon that is a FREE will beep because they have to put the amount of the coupon in it..that doesn't mean it's fraud.
Heck 1/2 the time the All You coupons...flipping beep....next time..stand your ground...insist a manager comes to talk to you...so they see they are not IP.....check to see if they start with a 9, or are they ones with only the new barcode ect.....but stand your ground. The policy hasn't changed...the need to take the coupon. If it's a IP...it's a YMMV...but walmart unless they upgrade there scanners are going to have to figure out what to do when all coupons have only the new barcode and don't go through.

she was the front end CSM and she radioed the on duty GM and asked if the no pushing through applied to both IPs and "actual coupons" and he replied yes. they will not push it through. i dont know if this is store specific, region specific etc. it was a hassle to deal with especially the counting and checking and voiding the cocoa but she was so apologetic. on a side note these coupons have the new barcodes. but my kelloggs ones i used had the new barcode and scanned fine...i will call monday and see what they say/
maybe they should make a line designated just for couponers.. LOL.. I seem toalways take at the LEAST an hour just to check out! i feel so bad when someone comes up behind me because I have to politely tell them that I have a ton of coupons and PM's and I may be a while.. My longest checkout was over 2 hours just checking out, but it was well worth my 6 hour shopping trip!
oh geez, I hope our store doesn't get like this- they are really really coupon friendly.

I think the q beeps if there is overage too. I'm guessing just so they can verify. But if there's a new policy and it does... does that mean no more overage??
no my overage coupons went through (covergirl) it wasnt a beep like that it was a beep like no items sold see journal and then it printed out a little slip and i imagine its just for that store will call and verify with corporate tomorrow
This happened to me...I went to buy some A&D ointment and I had a coupon for $2 off and she rang it thru and it beeped and she handed it back to me and said I cant take this...I said whys that and she said cuz if the coupon makes the register beep then we dont have to take it anymore because that means its fake! I said your policy doesnt state that and she said they just had a meeting about coupons and alot of them are fake and I told her that I sure didnt waste all my time to create this perfectly colored coupon and only make it for $2 off! I was so mad at this cashier that I just told her to put it back
