I think more people are getting into couponing because of the T V shows and some of these people are just flat breaking the rules which comes back on us honest couponers. Don't forget, just about all rules/laws etc are made to keep the minority of people in check and keep the honest people running through hoops.
The problem is, what is mostly beeping is 2 things.

coupons that start with a 9. ALL coupons that start with a 9 are beeping..because Walmart has programed there registers to beep at a 9, so they don't double which is absurd since Walmart isn't doubling them anyways.

Two...The scanners for the most part are still not scanning the new barcode. Well in less then 2 month that is the only barcode that is supposed to be on the coupon. So walmart better get there act together and find a way to get there scanners to SCAN THEM!!! And it is insulting for us to buy there magazine that they promote and then they turn around and not accept the coupon...because the register is programmed to beep each time it's used.

I think on my trips, once every 3rd or 4th trip I have one coupon..where there is a legit reason it's beeping..otherwise it's starts with a 9, or new barcode.
