WASHINGTON, IA Walmart IS also DOUBLING COUPONS THIS MONTH.

I went to walmart tonight and got 4 olay body wash (trial size) and got 4 Satin Care shave gels FREE with the coupon from the 7/31 P&G Brandsaver anyways I was talking to the cashier and she said they had started doubling coupons, so of course I'm wondering whats the deal with that, the cashier called somebody over (her name is Suzanne) and Suzanne told me since HY-VEE here in Washington, IA is doubling coupons on every Wednesday this month this Walmart will be doing it too. So for anybody close to Washington, IA there is now 2 stores here at least this month that is doubling man. coupons up to a dollar. So any man. coupons a dollar or under will be doubled. Don't know yet if there is a limit to how many coupons will double at walmart but I think it's prob the same as HY-VEE (10).

edit: example: you have a $1 of tide man coupon it will be doubled to $2.

Just wanted to let everybody know that yes Walmart will have the same limits as hy-vee. Any man. coupons up to $1 and limit of 10 coupons doubling.

Thanks so much for this info. I can't wait to try. Almost sorry that we are going to be gone next week.. Do you know if we will have to check out at CS or just a regular register and will the cashiers know what or how to do it ?

I think you just check out normally but I would tell the cashier beforehand just in case they have to call somebody over to override anything.

My Walmart and 12 other stores in WV started doubling up to $0.99 as a "trial run" last week. Went today... and although it took awhile for the cashier to ring up all the coupons (have to manually adjust down the price of the item, then scan the coupon) it was totally worth it!!
