Walmart toy clearance

So I went in to Walmart the other day to get some spray for our hornet problem well in that seasonal section at the back of the store there where so MANY toys that all had clearance tags! I didnt get anything because the prices weren't that great. So I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if the prices get better and usually when that is.

At our walmart (in georgia) there's a clearance going on in the garden center and I thought the same as you (these prices don't blow me away) but then I found out that everything with the clearance sticker was actually 50% off of THAT price which made everything much more appealing! I'm guessing it started out as the original "clearance sticker price" and then at some point got an additional 50% off but i don't know how long that took. I would ask someone that works there and see if there's an additional % off at the moment...

I still waiting on stuff that was on clearance from after Christmas to actually get a real clearance price on it LOL. Sometimes ya gotta wonder...
