as long as the coupon doesn't exclude trial size's, I don't understand why WM won't allow them. I think you'd be better off finding a different walmart to shop at
after trying to do the olay deal with the travel size i was informed by my local manager that per the regional manager coupons will no longer be allowed on travel/trial size EVER i tried explaining that if the manufacturers meant for those not to be used for that size then the coupon would state the restrictions she said she was aware of the coupons that state "excludes trial" etc but that this was the regional managers decisiont:
no coupons allowed on travel/trial EVER! i asked her what other stores were "regional" and she said she wasnt for sure but it was a large area including
muncie, in, etc. how can people make management and not get it? i want to scream! walmart is reimbursed PLUS .08cents per coupon and you are moving tons of products that would sit on the shelves and draw dust! agggh! encouraging couponing is the smartest thing a company can do! i have bought TONS more since i began couponing than i coulda ever dreamed of before and that equals PROFITS for the places i shop at... but im preaching to the choir wasnt meaning to rant sorry just dont know what to do, go from here.![]()

contact corp. Walmarts coupon policy is not regional it's nationwide. Tell them that you tried to use a coupon for a product and that the manager is refusing to let you because of the size of the product even though there is no restriction on the coupon for that size, and tell him the whole regional thing.
I normally email corp with that kind of issue.

Omg.....I had to call Bentonville on tuesady over a very similar issue while in the store. The cashier refused to accept/scan my cascade $1/1 q's turned her light off and walked away stating "we don't accept this coupon anymore, I gave to get the manager". I could not believe t!!! After about 5 min a CSM comes over saying the same thing and refused to scan ANY of my q's!! What the heck!!!! Anyways after going round n round for about 10 min she finally scanned the q's that went through fine. I let them know I was calling bentonv ille because this type of treatment is unacceptable, stepped to the side and called on my cell. After telling them what happened they sent a manager to me inside the store after about 10 min. This manager was nice. I told her what happened. She called over the CSM involved and got her side of the story. After hearing everything she said that ALL coupons are to be accepted, and that CSM's have the ability to over ride if/when necessary then apologized to me, stating this is a training issue that would be addressed asap.

I totally understand you.....Everyone knows the difference between purchase and transaction!!!??? I went to this walmart the other day...I usually dont go to this one cuz theyre not coupon friendly AT ALL!!! but my mom had to go so I thought I'd go...I gave her the BOGO old spice q's and we used them with the trial size! OH MY GOSH you would think we were trying to steal something...They had 4 managers at the register trying to figure out if we were allowed to do that! then I got some excedrin which was on sale at rite aid for $1.99 and I had $2 off q's that said 1 coupon per purchase!! and the cashier said "you can only buy one of these" I said why? and she said because it says 1 coupon per purchase I said yes and I am making 6 purchases and she said no you will have to leave the store and come back and I said no that would be transactions!! and even the manager told her that she would have to do each one separately so I stood there and let her do all 6 transactions!!! I was so mad at them it wasnt even funny!! They said that they just got scammed out of thousands of dollars from people couponing so they have to make sure the coupons match up! I think us couponers should sit down with employees of stores and teach them how to read a coupon!! Maybe then things would go more smoothly at stores and they wouldnt treat us like were stealing from them!!
This is an addendum post to further clarify the coupons used during my transaction from Tuesday that prompted me to call the home office in Bentonville.
(4 ) four $1/1 cascade
(2) two bogo johnsonville patties
(1) one $1/1 nestle drum sticks
(3) three $.50/1 dawn
As soon as the cashier laid eyes on the cascade q's she refused to scan all 10 turned her light out and went to get CSM.
I take pride in reading and following the wording on each coupon which is what made this shopping trip so very troubling!!!!!!!!!

Here is there corp coupon policy. Walmartstores.com: Walmart Coupon Policy
it states nothing about a rule about not being able to use a coupon on a trial or travel size.
This is there email...although i would try there coupon policy first. Walmartstores.com: Contact Us email is at the bottom
