QUESTION WISK price match from CVS?

A friend of mine told me this on facebook:

Wisk is BOGO at CVS. You can actually take the circular to Walmart, and they'll honor the BOGO. Their Wisk is half the cost, and if you still have the 2.00/1 coupons, you can get Wisk for 50 cents each

Can anyone confirm this deal? What's the shelf price for the wisk? :)

(i've made a different thread for this, because this deal won't last all month)

It would have been a great deal but Walmart will only price match a bogo if the price is in the ad for that reason. They are usually cheaper and would lose a ton of money if they didn't.

I looked at the CVS ad and it does not have the price of the bogo in the ad so they will not price match.

It would have to say bogo $6.99 (as an example) for them to price match.

    AHEM

If this becomes a delete every post because no one is noticing what the Walmart Mod posted...I'm not going to be very happy

DO NOT POST ABOUT ACTUALLY AD MATCHING THE WISK AT WALMART. THE PRICE OF THE WISK IS NOT IN THE CVS AD, THUS WALMART WILL NOT AD MATCH IT.

This is there Ad Match Policy Portion discussing bogo's: Be a good couponer and for heck sake read the thing before going and asking for a ad match:

We DO NOT match the price in the following types of competitor ads:

    • Items that require a separate purchase to get the ad price
      • example: "Buy [item A] to get [item B] for $C"

    • Items with no actual price that require a purchase to get free product
      • example: "Buy both [items A & B] to get [item C] for free"

    • Items that require a purchase to get a competitors' gift card
      • example: "Buy [item A] to get a $B gift card

    • Buy one, get one free (BOGO) ads with no actual price given
    • Going out of business or closeout prices
    • Percentage off
      • example: "All mascara, 40% off"

    • Competitors' private label price promotions

Walmarts Current Coupon Policy & Price Matching Policy 3/11/11

I personally cannot live with myself asking them to do something that I know is apt to get them written up or fired. You should have the same concerns. If you don't, maybe you should reevaluate how important saving a buck is.

I don't like having to warn folks or worse giving out infractions for things...so for craps sake don't make me!!!
