I have seen this question asked on another site. The best thing to do is call or ask a cashier at Walmart. Some people have reported it working but others have not. It cannot hurt to ask though.
I searched and didn't find an answer. I am going through my CVS ad and it has a lot of items that state the following:
Pantene Pro V
you pay with card 2/6.97

extrabucks rewards on two $2
IT'S LIKE PAYING 2/4.97 after extrabucks
Will Walmart match the extrabucks price or only the card price?

Sorry, new to the Walmart thing to receive the sales price. Is this the line you were referring to? Shopping card is equal to RR?

To those experienced users I apologize for stating the obvious to you
Assistance and patience is greatly appreciated... Nova

We don't have CVS, just Walgreens around here. The manager at my local Walmart told me they honor the sale price, not the AFTER register rewards price.

That means they will ad match after the card price.
Folks Walmarts ad match policy is very specific. they are not going to be price matching the RR or ECB price and it's not worth getting your cashiers in trouble by asking, and then they doing it wrong. They don't always know.
You need to think of it this way. When you are paying $4 but you get $2 RR back. You are still pay the $4. Since Walmart has no capability of giving you a catalina for $2 back there is no reason to be asking them to price match it. It would be like me asking them to price match a deal at Target where I get a $5 gc for purchasing something. That is specifically in the price match policy as a big no!
Walmart will absolutely price match the CVS Card price as long as the price is in the Ad. Please stick with just that.
