I nearly got sideswiped at Kroger using 2 Lean Cuisine IPs and my cashier, the asst. manager, looks at the UPC codes and claims she can't take the 2nd one because they're the same. Dear, let me direct you to the dot-scan barcode which is not the same. OH!

I think she was a little peeved because earlier in the day she refunded $11 for their Colgate Total ad misadventure.

I consider myself to be a nice person and don't want to argue with anyone but this is hard cash and I work hard to earn it. I wouldn't allow an employer to short change me on a paycheck and I'm not gonna let a poorly trained cashier do it either. Call for a CSM! Call the police! Call the feds! Ok, maybe that's a little e*x*t*r*e*m*e :)

It does seem recently the register beeps more often. For the most part, it goes smoothly, but I am also aware how how hard it can be sometimes. My local store has been a nightmare lately, so I've been going to one about 30 min from home. I don't like the extra travel - just the less hassle. :)
