Thanks for the info and the tips. ;)
WM only lets you do 3 returns in 6 months without a receipt. So, come Christmas when you have gifts from people you may need to return or exchange, any returns you do from now until then without a receipt will still be on your record.
Tips to help you:
1.At christmas try to do just ONE trip with the things you don't have a receipt for. You can do as many items as you need to, but the return will still only count as 1, because it's only 1 transaction. So instead of coming in with 3 different pairs of jeans, take all 3 in at once and it will only count 1 time towards your limit of 3 returns.
2. If it's your SOs, or your of age childrens, etc. then make them do the return. You need an ID card, because they use your license number for the record of how many returns you've done. This will help so that if you've done your third return, and then suddenly little Jimmy says that the jeans he just tried on are too tight, you can still have him exchange them with his ID.
The best pointer is to try and keep your receipt and to remind friends and family to ask for a gift receipt that they can give you.

thanks for the info. All these stores in and outs of returns and policies kill me. What ever happened to just plain old good customer service?
My Super walmart let me exchange food items but they had to be for other food items.

Thanks for the information. I rp'd you.
I have a question that maybe someone hear can help me with. We received a foosball table for Christmas, and it came from Walmart. Unfortunately we don't have a receipt. Do you thing WM will let us exchange it for a credit? It is still in the original box, hasn't even been opened. It's really big and heavy though, and I don't want to lug it all the way there if we won't be able to return it.
TIA!
Thanks! Good idea to ask first.
