I didnt see the pencils on the flyer posted in the wags forum. Am I missing something? I have a daughter in the nursing program who could really use these.

    Backpacks

They have FINALLY put on clearance backpacks that they have had from last year. These are laptop backpacks that are very nice quality. Not cheapy ones. They were first priced for $40. They have girl and boy colors but nothing that are cartoon like...they could be used for any age. They are now $14.88!! I found them near the Back to School stuff.

That ad expires today (or yesterday depending on where you live) and I'm not sure if they even had 5 pack's at Walmart.

What I want to know, as a teacher and probably a mom one day, is why the 12ct Crayolas cost so much more than the 24ct?! Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

FYI coming from a teacher: Email your child's teacher and ask if they can have the 24ct box because, well, it's cheaper. LOL Usually the teachers will budge (be aware that some may make the students throw out/take home the "extra" crayons)... especially since those 24ct boxes are the ones we keep in the closet for spares!
Consider couponing for your local shelter: $30.00 OOP has gotten them 41 body washes, 30 deodorants, and a whole lot of toothpaste and toothbrushes to date!

As a teacher I would like to add a few things that are not on the list that I know get requested:
    Ziploc bags
    Hand Sanitizer
    Lysol Wipes
I'd love to see what the Crayola Dry Erase Crayons best price is... (these may be great as they do not dry out)..
    And PLEASE .. PLEASE.. PLEASE..
If you are a parent purchasing school supplies DO NOT buy the cheap pencils (Penway or whatever CVS brand is) They break ALL the time and the lead falls out they are a complete frustration to the student and teacher!!! (the poor kid never gets to use the pencil because it is broken all the time) This also goes for those cute pencils that stores like WAGS offer 8/$1 with the holiday theme on them. The design is a sticker and it breaks the pencil sharpener.
Dixon and Ticonderoga seem to work the best.

Ticonderoga is the brand I bought my kids this year because they had the antibacterial whatever quality to them I'm all about less germs.
