Crayola Crayons 24 ct $0.40

Yesterday I was at Walmart and they had a bin out of school supplies, including Crayola Crayons 24 ct for $0.40 each. I got 8 of them, I think this was one of the lowest prices I saw last year.

Anybody get this size for better with out without a coupon?

We picked up a box of Crayola Crayons yestarday at Dillon (dont know if you have a dillons near you) for $.25!

I would have waited. Last year, I got them for .20 box. If you haven't already, you should ck this thread out, it has the breakdown of the best sales prices -

Last year, same item was .25 at Wal-mart. but .40 is pretty darn good considering the whole rest of the year the best price is 1.29!

I just started a Back to School Walmart Wiki...so lets start the Deals over there. When we think they are rock bottom we will put them in Red.

Dillons is Very regional (although maybe kroger has them at the same price). I'm personally holding off on buying supplies for another few weeks.

Thanks for all the replies. I will be on the look-out for prices dropping to $0.25. I don't feel too bad paying $0.40 each considering how much they usually cost. My kids love crayons and Crayola are my fav =)

I probably would have picked up a few at .40 also. I know that .25 was the popular BTS sale price here last year...but everything's gone up in price. If I passed up .40, and wasn't able to find .25 later, I'd be kicking myself for it!!

Besides, I like to keep some of those around the house for gifts when I need them. A dollar-store coloring book and a new box of crayons is a great "cheer up" gift for a child who is stuck in bed with the flu. They also make great stocking stuffers...or an addition to a gift basket for a child.

I'm getting a couple of packs for .25 (Kroger) but I think I got some last year for $0.17. Can't remember where, I think it was a one day back to school sale.
