oh there is a limit of 4 stated on the coupons so i did it like this 4 bodywashes (2 coupons) and 4 free body sprays (4 coupons) total with tax was 3.64 for all 8 products
travel section now has old spice fresh collection body wash travel size for .97cents these are 1.7 oz and fit size requirements for $1/2 coupons from sunday 7/3 P&G. i combined these with the BOGO old spice coupons which read "buy one old spice fresh collection get one old spice body spray free" the body sprays retail for 4.97 YMMV and are over by mens deordorant. the math is this
2x body wash 1.7 oz = $1.94
2x body spray = $9.97
minus
$1.00 off 2 O.S. &
2 FREE body sprays = .94cents plus the tax
side note : walmart registers did not want to take BOGO body sprays off had 2 managers read every letter of my coupons in the end they had to override because the BOGO does not state any size requirements.

Do all wal-marts allow you to use the BOGO even when you are using a coupon on the ones that you purchase? Just checking before I go!![]()
@mucci no problem! i was so tickled when i seen the size on the $1/2 off was 1.7 oz which is the travel size! i feel like the 4.87 body spray is overpriced ! the can is so small but for free the hubby can keep it in his locker at work.
@jen : yes the BOGO was perfectly legit because it was for the body sprays and the $1/2 coupons were for the ts body wash
Good looking out mopets! I read then re-read that coupon. Decided to stopped in before work to see if my supercenter was in stock. Sure enough I was able to grab up the last two fresh collection 1.7 oz bodywashes. There was more than enough body sprays so I head to check out.
Normally, my experience over the past month and a half has been as long as the coupon description matches the items purchased the friendly cashiers just hit enter, then enter the $ amount to put the coupon through so I figured this would be the same, especially since my cashier was also the CSM.....NOT!!!!!
Four items and three matching coupons turned into a 30 minute transaction. A customer behind me must have been listening to me read and re-read the coupon outlook to the CSM because she said "if the coupon says buy one bodywash get a body spray free why can't you just give it to her". Half way through I asked if there was someone available who could help me. She called over an Asst. Manager who instructed the CSM to put the coupon through since it matched up to $5.39.
Voila.....with the ok from the asst manager........by simply scanning the coupon, then hitting enter, next entering the $ amount of body spray ($4.24) the CSM who argued for 30 minutes that she couldn't make the register accept the coupon did just that....no special code or key.....just scan, hit enter, then key in the price.....very frustrating

Oh man....they do NOT want to do this one at walmart. I too carefull read my Q's saw that the sizes are all good and went to walmart today to get them. I have had some really nice casheirs there, but this cashier read the Q's......scanned, wrote something on the free body spray Qs and then told me the total. I could tell (obviously) she had not given me the sprays for free. I said. "Oh...did you get the sprays taken off that total?" She said "No, I gave you the body washes for free instead because you can't have the spray for free because the BW is a trial size."
I said "Oh no.....that coupon clearly has no size limits or exclusions and I know that the manufacturer considers the 1.7 oz a TRAVEL size, not a TRIAL size, and that is why on the -$1/2 BW Q it even includes the 1.7 size, but the free coupon has no size limit. I think we should just call over a manager". At that, she got all tight lipped....read the coupons REALLY CAREFULLY one more time, and as she re-did the sale was huffing and slamming her hands down as she scanned the Q's.......
I figure, after reading them so close, she knew I was right, and knew a manager would just give me the prices per the Q's. I didn't let it get to me, I just stood my ground........I will never figure out why some casheirs think if the deal is really good, that they should deny people.
It really was a good deal :)

Long time lurker here. I too saw this heck of a deal while picking up some things at Walmart. I read the wording carefully, over and over. Sounded legit. I picked up the two travel size body washes to use the $1/2 Q and one body spray using the BOGO Q. Cashier was quick to tell me no and she insisted that the BOGO is "buy one body spray, get one body spray free." I looked it over again and read it aloud, showed her the qualifying products, but to no avail. She would not budge. She gave me that look like "don't test me, I know what I'm talking about." I didn't bother arguing because I didn't want to piss off the line that quickly formed behind me. So just left with the 2 body washes. Pfft!
I'll have to get over to walmart tomorrow sometime! Old Spice is all hubby uses!
