John Frieda Saves the Day!

I was pretty upset, I had to stop by Walmart to buy More milk and bread after the Kids went through all 5 gallons in just a couple days.

So I grab the Milk and Bread and go to make a Run for the Cashier, and as Im getting ready to check out, I see one of those Clearance Racks! I swear my eyes lite up! I turned to my son, and told him ' Run to the Car and get my Coupon Binder " I look and find a TON of John Frieda Products marked down to $1.50 each! Including the Creme for the $3/1 Coupon and the Other hair care stuff matched my $2.00 off coupon.

All in All I walked out having Paid $0.32 for
5 Gallons of Milk
3 Loaves of bread
20 John Frieda Products,
6 Dial Trial Body Washes,
6 Razors, the Shick ones were clearanced and I had $4/1 coupons.
1 Huggies Wipes (great for sticky hands in the car)
6 Tide to go Pens

I didnt realize quite how well I did till I checked out. In my head I was matching up overage from this thing to overage to the $1 I need to pay on this thing! Not Bad for me. My record on a full trip is only 67% before this!

The Cashier gave me a Attitude though. She went through my coupons like a General Preparing for battle! She tried to go off Photos on Coupon and not the Wording. I won the battle though ;)

I did have to do the Razors, Tide to go and a couple other items on a second transaction, because I had to take the cashier back and prove the Razors were clearanced because of Package Damage. They were a Percentage off, the Original Price, but the Original Price kept coming up at $6.74 instead of 5.24, then the 50% discount. But I found more John Frieda in the back so it worked out and I got the Tide To Go's to eat up the overage.
Its so rare that everything aligns to perfectly!

That is awesome!!!! If I was closer to my WM I'd run out to see if they had that clearance too! LOL

I have 4 Children Aged 5-11. 2 boys and 2 girls. But there are 4 Adults in my home as well.My Hubby and me and 2 close friends who rent a small apartment upstairs from us. But we mostly share everything. Im newly disabled and always need help!

We have a Go for it List in our house. Anything on that List , the kids May help themselves to with out asking. It its not on the List, they need permission and or supervision.

The go for it List entails
Milk
Water
Hot Dog's
Fruit from the Bowl on the Table
Crystal Light
Certain Types of Crackers.

Im lucky Aldis has it for $2 a gallon. I only got it at walmart because I needed to go straight by there on my Way to pick up my Son.

I made this Rule that the kids can have as much Milk or Crystal lite as they want, but stay away from Sugary Drinks, though when I made it we still received several dozen gallons a month through wic!!!

Thats really great, finding those deals, esp John Frieda, you'll have to let me know... right now, in so ca, we're in a horrible heat and humiidity 95 % and % humidity brutality wave, my hair could pass for Halloween day, every day, .... so i need to find some more products, that actually work! lol

There is one Isle just for clearance between pet food and Fans. There also is a Endcap in Health and Beauty and when they get over full on clearance they put racks out in the main walkway by the registers.
