My Walmart STOPPED doubling coupons!

My Wal mart in Charleston, SC stopped at the end of Nov. :(

I too found out at the register with a cart load of items that would have been free or close to free. There was a sign at each and every register stating they no longer doubled or tripled, I never even knew they tripled. You did have to ask for them to double.

They not only price matched but also doubled which was REALLY nice. Doubling was up to 97 cents.

I've never heard of a WM doubling (or tripling). You're lucky you had it while you did!

I'm from Huntington, WV and back in the summer we were part of a trial period where Walmart would double coupons up to $1, along with price matching. The cashiers had to enter each coupon manually. In November they stopped, supposedly due to the fact that it was the holiday season. It has been hinted at that they might start up again after the holiday season. I hope so, because it was so nice to price match and double coupons.
