My first week of couponing, I did great with deod, includig a clearance rack with $3.00 Degree 50% off. I had many BOGO coups and those were included.

The problem was the second time I went back, the cashier was unsure about the twin packs of Degree for the BOGO so she called a manager. Although she was nice, she would only allow me to do one BOGO for the twinpacks but not the other ones I had coups for. I told her they did it yest, but ok, I am grateful for the one twin pack going thru.

So, what is the dealio with the twin packs? The single is $2 something and the twin pack was $3.88. I was paying for the 2nd one in the package, just at a cheaper rate, so I thought the BOGO'S would be ok.

I know some coups mention twin packs, but if they do not, can I not apply the BOGO toward them?

Thanks for any answers. I just want to make sure I and the store are doing things right

It should be fine. What I would do.....I'd probably call corp. Tell them the coupon doesn't limit..so why are you not allowed to use the coupon. They are getting there full money back so they really shouldn't care.

I also like to add..that my local xyz store lets me do it all the time..and if needs be I guess I can take my money there.

Huge YMMV here.
Are you saying that it's all because their accounting systems at the registers ring it all up funny or ... what exactly do you mean "journaling nightmare"? (see below)

But if a coupon is for 2 different products, for example - Buy Degree, Get Suave Bodywash Free, then the coupon will probably just attach to the bodywash and you can use a coupon on the degree.
Ok... the exact quote on my q's is...

"Buy one, get one FREE. Buy any ONE(1) Degree Men or Women Premium Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant or Body Mist and Get the second FREE (up to $6.00)"

    and

"SAVE $1.00 on any ONE(1) Degree Men or Women Anti-Perspirant & Deodorant"

I'm trying to understand how the phrasing of the first attaches to both items preventing the second coupon from being used.

I have 22 of these puppies (11 each) and I want to try to use them to the best of my ability.

I considered getting travel/trial(whatever it's called) size with the $1/1 q, but if I can combine it with the B1G1, that would probably save me more money. But then I want to do this right, so what would you do?
