Mine isn't doubling at all, and management scouffed when I asked.

One can still hope, I suppose.

I belong to a survey site with Walmart, they have been talking all over the site about doubling coupons rumors on the chat forums. We have many facilitators that never seem to respond in these discussions. Walmart hears what we all want, they will hopefully get with the program.

Well my Walmart is going to start doubling on July 30th. All of the cashiers are asking their customers if they have any price matches or coupons at check out. The cashiers then tell the customers about the new coupon policy starting on July 30th. It sounded like a broken record in the store yesterday!! I went over to customer service to get more details and spoke with 4 people (all standing together), 2 of which were managers. They said starting July 30th they will double any coupon with a face value of $0.99 or less. So a $0.75 Q = $1.50 off. There is no limit, and the customer will get the overage, if any. They will continue to do price matches and will double Qs with a price match too. They did say the customer needs to hand over the Q when the cashier scans the item (instead of giving all coupons at the end of the transaction) because the cashier has to manually double the Q since they don't have a double key. The managers said that this is a trial/test and they have no idea how long it will last.
    I can't wait!!

Wow! This would be great. I was just at Walmart last night. I didn't buy some of my items because I knew my grocery store would double my coupons and I could get a better price. I rarely shop at Walmart..maybe 3-4 times a year, but the doubleling would bring me in many more times a year.

I am hopeful it will take off everywhere if they're testing in other parts of the country with more competitive grocery markets. I live about 5 miles from the home office. Went to a store today that would not even allow me to piggyback even though it was correct use of q's and equal number of q's to items.

My Wal-Mart told me the same thing. I live in Parkersburg. I tried it out last night and I felt soooo sorry for the poor cashier. They only had one lane open she had to do a price override on EVERY item that had a double coupon. I got some really good deals though because I did price match with the double up to $0.99.

Interesting I hope Ny hops on this! I have Topps and I have to make several trips if I have more than 4 of the same coupon otherwise the coupon is at face value when I use more than four.
I rarley shop Walmart for the exact reason that it is a further drive and they do not double I would rather make several trips closer to home and get my coupons doubled.
IVDSO: drink coupons!! Please Rebates NBPR for NY.... Anything new I haven't traded in a while please pm if you have forms. IVDSO OF Hellman's Mayo $1.00/1 pm me to trade

At my Walmart that is doubling Qs, there is a sign at each register that states it will be doubling Q for a limited time, and that only 16 stores in WV are participating in this testing phase. There was no indication of how long they might be doubling.
I did go there today with coupons, and it was a pain-staking process. He had to scan the item, then use a calculator (for every single item) to deduct the coupon from the price of the item, then scan the item again, then over ride the price, then enter this new price into the register, then scan the coupon. It took forever, but I got some good deals.

Actually, since my Kroger will double coups $1 or less, I am doing my MAJOR shopping there. If WM decides to do the same, then I will do my major shopping there once again. Until then, Kroger is my go-to store. LISTEN UP WALMART! HEAR WHAT THE PEOPLE ARE SAYING!!
