Doubling coupons at Walmart?

i would love for my walmart to start doubling! i have a store 1/4 mile from walmart that doubles up to .99....so this would make great competition for them! and walmart doesn't have as strict of a coupon policy as the other store.

I wonder if they realized how much business they have lost to the stores that double regularly or even just on occasion.

even if wm only doubled once or twice a week, i would definitely make sure to plan a trip, especially since mine is open 24/7!! i can only hope and cross my fingers for this in my area

People use to joke that I lived at Walmart... I couldn't imagine what they'd say about it if Walmart started doubling coupons! lol

Sorry I didn't get back sooner...I heard it from a lady I met in a dumpster LOL. I was going to my paper recycling place to look for coupons and she was in the dumpster! So we got to talking and she said a friend of hers who worked at Walmart told her that. So it's second hand info. Who knows, it'd be great though!

Very exciting if indeed true but that means I'll have to shop @3am on a tues to beat the mile long lines. Fingers crossed. But they better train cashier properly then bc little to none know the current policy.

just print the policy and keep if with you!! they must abide by it!

Oh, for Walmart to double!!!!!! What? A girl can dream can't she?

Seriously, WM is walking distance from me! I'd be there daily! I just got finished telling my girls that when summer comes, we should all do a morning walk to Walmart together, even without buying anything. It's a great bit of exercise going down one hill and up another, then back.

If they double, then I'm in trouble.

I had also heard that a Walmart in Utah county was doing double coupons to keep up with a local, family run store. I am in Salt Lake county and called two of the Walmart's close to me.... no luck, they will not be doubling coupons now, or anytime soon.

I don't know of ANY stores in Iowa that double...except Kmart on a very rare occasion. The WalMart closest to me is kind of "icky" (to be nice) and I'm sure it would not be the nicest place if they decided to double coupons. Now, there are 6 others within a 30 minute drive (I'm in the center of the city so everywhere is 30 minutes away!) that are much nicer and I could totally see them doubling. That would be so awesome. I wonder who I would email to request it?
