was refused at 2 walmarts for the walgreen bogo and bogo coupons

i was told no, with two differen scenarios for the clean and clear. ring one at 4.97 one at 1.02 ring 2 at 3 each, and they would only give me some money off. im so frustrated over it. 3 walgreens-- sold out.

Ya it's a bit of coupon drama over it. Everyone's gotta understand that there is a good likelyhood that if you try it..your going to have to contact corp and get them involved to make it happen. Part of it is not everyone is trained on even how to ring up the bogo (it's a bit complicated) and if they are trained properly...your still not going to get it all for free..because you still have to pay the difference between what walgreens cost is and what walmarts cost is. My store dropped the price to $2.99 per bottle...which would mean if you price match and use the bogo coupon...it will cost you even more, since the price match to walmart price is even bigger.

Not sure I'm understanding...but it has always been WM policy to not price match BOGOs or percents off. Did they change recently change that???

yes.
and i asked them to call corp and they wouldnt. the issue with wmt #1 was the coupon said i had to buy one to get one free and price match was the same. oh well.. i was excited to get it for my girls they also had a fit about the tylenol precise but i got them at least, and then they told me they couldnt give me overage when i pulled the policy up on my phone hey wouldnt even look at it, but they gave it to me

At my wal-mart my aunt has successfully done the BOGO deal twice and I have been turned down twice. At the exact same wal-mart.

i went to 2 diff walmarts in nj and they did it after a little bit of arguing over the policy and showing them clearly they are to price match and i can use a coupon...i also called corporate while standing at the register to tell them they refused to do it....after 5 minutes the mgrs came up to verify and said to the cashiers they have to do it....
so 2 out of the 3 walmarts did it...
you just need to have a little patience and willing to argue lol...have your policys in hand...
both stores rang it up this way:
3 items at 4.97 each and 3 items at .00 each
just paid tax...

After going to about 10 Wags with no luck and I realized that the Q's were expiring on Sunday, I decided to try Walmart. I was super lucky and had a great cashier. He price matched. I bought 4 total. I told him to put in $5.99 for the price since that was the price in the Walgreen's ad. So he did that twice and put in zero for the other 2. Then he took off $5.99 each for both of my BOGO coupons. I had lots of other stuff and did great today. I feel really lucky to have gotten the deal.

I was just wondering about this. I went into Walmart this week and tried to get the bogo for the Lysol toilet bowl cleaner that Wags had on sale and the cashier had to ask someone and then said "we will do it this once but we can't do it after this". So is Walmart suppose to allow the BYGO ad match. Granted Wags had it for more than Walmart so I ended up getting 2 for 1.88 instead of 2/2.99.

Also I was nervous about combining an ad match with a manufacturer coupon. Is this allowed? I'm new so please excuse my ignorance.

Yes you should be able to ad match and use a coupon on that product...but expect that you may have to call corp to get it to happen. It seems to be a knee jerk reaction of no...but multiple people have called corp on it..and they have affirmed that it's a yes.
