Found tons of JMS on clearance at my local. Found 3, a jacket, a cardigan, and a white button up all for $5. Got to the register and the cashier ? the 'sportswear' wording so she called for back-up. Another lady (not a manager) some to tell me what I'm purchasing is not sportswear so they aren't valid for the coupon. I ask her what's 'sportswear' then? and she tells me 'what's pictured is sportswear'. I did not have the time to argue since my lil ones were antsy and I just left them there. It's driving me crazy though b/c I really wanted those darn clothes. Is anyone else getting the same problem? What really is the definition of sportswear?

Here is there online store Just My Size

honestly I would probably call corp. Tell them the wording of there coupon. Tell them this is the only place you know of outside of online to buy the clothing and this coupon was in the All You magazine. That you can see the exclusions. And you figure pj's are not sports wear but even from the website nothing says "sportswear". See if they can either explain what sportswear is...or give the okay to let you buy clothing as long as it's not what is excluded (and the pj's).

Cause heck if I know what sports wear is. I'm thinking not one person buying that magazine and using the coupon has found one product that actually said "sportswear". Maybe it's a term the fashion folk know but apparently forgot to tell us

    I wikepedia'd it..
Sportswear or activewear is clothing, including footwear, worn for sport or physical exercise. Sport-specific clothing is worn for most sports and physical exercise, for practical, comfort or safety reasons.

Specialised garments include wet suits (for swimming, diving or surfing) and salopettes (for skiing) and leotards (for gymnastics). Sports footwear include trainers. It also includes some underwear, such as the jockstrap and sports bra. Sportswear is also at times worn as casualfashion clothing.
For most sports the athletes wear a combination of different items of clothing, e.g. sport shoes, pants and shirts. In some sports, protective gear may be require to be worn, such as helmets or American football body armour.

Sportswear is typically designed to be light weight so as not to encumber the wearer. The best athletic wear for some forms of exercise, for example cycling, should not create drag or be too bulky.
On the other hand, sportswear should be loose enough so as not to restrict movement. Some sports have specific style requirements, for example the Keikogi used in karate. Various physically dangerous sports require protective gear, e.g. for fencing, American football or ice hockey.
Standardized sportswear may also function as a uniform. In team sports the opposing sides are usually made identifiable by the colours of their clothing, while individual team members can be made recognizable by a back number on a shirt.

not sure that it more helpful. pants/shirts/shorts..is what it looks like to me would be the only thing we could find. Which is basically what you grabbed.

My WM has 2 kids of JMS clothes, the tanks, shorts, t-shirts, etc. and the dress clothes. If the q were not going to work for something, I would think it would be the dress clothes.

My qs have beeped every time, but the cashier has put them through anyway. I got one pair of denim shorts, one short sleeve shirt with rivets along the collar, a tank and a cami type tank.

My store still has plenty of magazines left so I will probably get more.

Oh that is true. Dresses would not be okay either...although I couldn't find any anyways. Interesting that it beeped. None of the kind that I got beeped...nor did the infamous coupon $5 amount?

I thank you so much for your help I'm going to try again today. I know the 'jacket' i tried to get yesterday was actually part of a track suit. I think I will go back again in a few and try again with the jacket and maybe the matching pants if I can find them . My walmart still has tons of mags too so if I can get the tracksuit with no problem today then i will def. buy more mags. Its worth it. But if they give me issues again I sure will be giving up

I got some v neck tee shirts that were 5 dollars on sale. They have a rivot on each sleeve and a fake button pocket on the one side. They had them in about ten different colors or so. (I wished I had more than four coupons!)

They also have plain tanks at $5 regular price.
