We are just not sure. Walmarts new coupon policy is, well, new. But we are thinking that since the policy says one coupon per item, that they are not going to let you stack a competitor store coupon with a manufactures coupon. You may want to speak with your store manager and see what they say.

I've done it; it worked for me but the cashier didn't seem like she really knew what she was doing, or at least she wasn't too confident about it. The register didn't beep or anything.

What she did was take the SQ (it was a WAG ICV) and price adjusted the item to match what the coupon would do; it wasn't exactly scanning the coupon per se; the focus was on price matching, not coupon use. She said she had to do it when she scanned the item, not at the end when she'd scan any MFQs I had, so that way she can adjust the price as it scanned.
And then she scanned the MFQ. The MFQ didn't beep; it took the dollar amount off with no problems.

So in that way, the SQ doesn't count as a Q; it counts as a price match, so you can still use your MFQ as per the 1 coupon per item rule.

I have had luck "stacking" coupons at Walmart with very little problem. They don't have their own coupons, but you can stack the following type.

The ones I find that have worked are $1.00 off meat when you buy one bottle of A1 Sauce and $1.00 off any A1 sauce (that's two different coupons). The first coupon is actually for the $1.00 off meat, not the A1 Sauce. You have to "buy" the A1 sauce to use that coupon and so you can then also use the coupon for $1.00 off A1 sauce. I had a comp price of $1.48 from another store, so I got the A1 sauce for .48 and meat at $1.00 off the price. I also had luck with the Vanilla Wafer free bananas, Chips Ahoy $1.00 off milk, the $2.00 of produce when you buy 2 Old Wisconsin products, the $2.00 off meat/grocery when you buy 2 Old Wisconsin products, and the Buy2 get 1 free Mars candy(I think it's peanut butter squared?).

Of course, you never know when they will decide to change things again. They really have gotten better at sticking to their policy. We had one CSM at our local store who made up all her own rules. That stopped after I called corporate headquarters in Bentonville.
