Oh my gosh! I'm gonna have to print that and carry it with me.. my WM gives you a hassle if the coupon is 1 penny over the price.. I also see that they will accept catalina coupons from other stores!! Awesome!

Thank you everyone on this thread trying to decipher what Walmart had done!
Walmart has updated their coupon policy! It now states "Coupons may exceed the price of the item. Change may be given or applied toward the cost of the basket purchase."
Horray! Let's hope this will decrease the hassles in the checkout lanes!

Technically there corporate policy was to take the coupon and give overage if needed...but it wasn't spelled out quite as well as this one states.
I tell ya...outside of Doubling Walmart has one of the best coupon policies out there...WHEN the store actually uses it correct.

Now the thing about catalinas is iffy cuz what about the RRs from Walgreens? Policy says "MQ" with specific requirements printed on them. Whats that mean? Maybe they'll let me use my RRs.
re: OUTDATED - Walmart Updates to Coupon Policy The RR's I believe specify to only be accepted at WAGS...so I'd call that a huge YMMV and wouldn't count on it.
It also may be that it will only accept cats that are true "coupons" as an example $1.00/2 boxes of General Mills cereal. VS $2.00/ off purchase.
I've never had any desire to use my RR's at walmart...but I get Cats like the general mills at Dillons...so maybe I'll check it out sometime at Walmart and see if they will take them.

DO NOT TRy this store as DAVE the supervisor would not allow overage. Ive posted on the WM FB Page....
This is why I dont like going to this WM and have to drive 20 minutes away to the other more friendly WM But with gas going up its insane. Gas for us in CA is at $3.79 gallon so its not like I cAN GO driving to every WM.
Hope Walmart responds to me on FB.
