Why can't I get the Maalox?

Where do you get the coupon at? I've looked online for a printable one.

That coupon is set to expire on 03/01/11, so it might be too late to trade since there's only 4 mail days left to get it & use it. However, for future reference, we have many traders here that get multiples of coupons like this. this happened to me the other day but not w/ maalox. i had about 7 qs that were more than shelf price. while i was standing in line a manager walked past me and i asked her if i was going to have problems checking out with my qs or should i just go to customer service to check out like i usually have to do. she said we dont accept those coupons. she looked at them and hinted that they were copies. (i had various insert qs and ips). i told her that her that her store does accept them because ive used them before. luckily another manager walked by and she quickly corrected the other mgr and said i wouldnt have a problem. they just have to write the price on the q and no overrage. i told her thanks and i wasnt trying to scam money, just trying to get a few bargains. the other manager made me feel like i was trying to steal. the checkout went nice and smooth. i will have to remember that cashier.

I had a similar experience in the past. When I emailed corp and got a call from the store manager - he was more upset that the cashier told me he was the manager than me being upset.
I explained to the real manager I didn't think the dude was a manager so I called from the parking lot. Same dude answered, laughed and told me again he was the manager. I could hear he and a co worker laughing at me.

I had the last laugh cause Mr store manager gave me $25 cash.
They have a sheet he wrote my name on and then handed me the cash. Said he was too busy to get me a g.c and hoped cash would suffice.
Apparently they give money/gift cards for customer satisfaction all the time.

So definitely push the manager issue.

I tried to get Maalox from Walmart and the cashier refused to let me use the $5 coupon. She told me that because the coupon was more than the product it will not work. I explained that all she had to do was scan the Q and put in the price of the product. I asked to speak to a manager and she said that she WAS the manager.

OMG! Why Why Why? Why have a coupon policy and NOT train your employees on it? I told her to forget it and then asked her to look into it for the future!

Walmart should give you the overage... Correct me if I'm wrong, but the store does get the face value of the coupon back from the manufacturer. So if they don't give you the overage, they are making money off you coming in the store and using coupons. They give you $5 for the coupon off your order, and then they get it back from the manufacturer. Again, somebody correct me if I am wrong on that.

or come to think of it, maybe the store has to prove with the receipt how much the person paid, so the manufacturer may only reimburse the store for how much the person paid for the product. If that be the case, then I can see them not paying overage. At any rate, you still do better to get extra stuff, and if there is any overage, it will go toward the other items.

Yes...Walmart will get $5 regardless of how much we get off...which is why Walmart insists on giving the full amount for the coupon.
