@Thompson I just had the same exact thing happen to me at Walmart not 2 hours ago! It doesn't beep but only takes off $2 when it's scanned. Of course they automatically think its fraudulent and to be honest I would too if I didn't know better. Went to district manager on this one. Been on the phone with him and the store manager since I got home. That is a long story.

I called Kraft 800-634-1984 (got the number off the back of the shredded cheese I just purchased) and asked the rep if this was something that anyone else was encountering. She said no. She also said she would forward the info over to the promotion dept. Sooo... maybe more of us should call them and let them know what's happening.

I had the same problem with the register taking only $2.00 off. The cashier told me that she couldnt push it through because she would be fired since it was off the computer. I asked her if she would get in trouble if a manager came back for me to talk to. She never answered my question. She said they were cracking down on coupon copies and I told her that it was an internet printable not a copy but she didnt know the difference. She knew that the coupon was a legitimate one right from the kraft website. I hope that she didnt get in trouble for pushing it through. She said that she could lose her job for pushing the coupon through. That's why I asked to talk to a manager.

Some of the Kraft shredded cheese has a stickie advertising the $5 coupon...so I would look for one of those and show it to them. It would be hard to argue with the ad from Kraft right in front of them.

I too had the problem of the $2.00 scan. I did what others have said and made sure one of my bags had the peelie. The cashier then did a manual $3 after that.

I bought 5 of the 3 oz Philadelphia Cream Cheese {they are $.98 each}. The coupon beeped, but the cashier entered $4.90 and I got them for FREE!
